How to Use Polyester Strapping
Choose the right strapping First, we need to choose the right strapping according to the size, weight and characteristics of the object being strapped. Generally speaking, strapping is available in different widths and thicknesses. For heavier items, wider and thicker strapping should be selected to ensure its load-bearing capacity.
Wrap the strapping object Next, wrap the strapping around the object to be strapped. Preheating-drying-crystallization
Drying is an important part of polyester strapping production, and all three steps are to dry the raw materials.
Extrusion
The pellets or flakes are melted after processing inside the extruder, and the melt is extruded through a multi-channel die head. The extruded strapping starts with a wide extruded sheet.
Cooling
The melt is cooled in a water bath until solidified.
Stretching
The heated strapping tape is stretched to the required technical properties through a low-speed five-roller-heating furnace-high-speed five-roller. For example, tensile strength and elongation. After stretching, the strapping tape becomes narrower.
Embossed
The embossing process can increase the friction on the surface of the polyester strapping tape.
Fixed
The strapping tape is reheated, stretched and air-cooled to stabilize the strapping tape and keep it straight.
Winding
